Description
Encarsia formosa are a parasitic wasp which is helpful in the control of whitefly species.These organisms are specialist parasites that lay eggs inside developing sedentary whitefly nymphs.
Encarsia can target different whitefly species but will parasitize 2nd to 4th instars of the whitefly nymph. Needs whitefly nymphs to complete its lifecycle. Should ideally operate in a window of 68-77°F and relative humidity of 70% or less.
